How to Dress Any Window
Windows come in so many different shapes and sizes, which is what makes them so beautiful. Finding ways to dress every window, on the other hand, can feel like an impossible feat. From the team at Amazing Blinds & Shutters, we have tips to help you dress every window in your home, even the oddly shaped ones. (We’re looking at you, bay windows!)
Living Room
The windows in most living rooms tend to be similar, but you can quickly transform the look of your windows and space with a couple of tricks. Design Studio™ Side Panels & Drapery are available in a vast array of fabrics, textures, and patterns to suit any style of living room. Hang the hardware as close to the ceiling as possible to create the illusion of a taller ceiling and more spacious room. Keep the dramatic theme going by going with a length that breaks either just above the floor or forms a very slight puddle on it. And don’t forget about the width of the panels. Extending them several inches past the sides of the window frame will make your window look larger and let in the most natural light.
Bay Windows
If you’re fortunate enough to have bay windows in your home, you know how stunning they are. You also know they can be challenging to dress.
